Barcelona will be looking to bounce back from their Copa del Rey final defeat this weekend when they host Osasuna in the league.
A Cristiano Ronaldo header in extra time defeated Pep Guardiola’s men on Wednesday evening as Real Madrid secured the first piece of silverware of the season.
Barcelona are still in the driving seat for the league title though and they would love to go a step closer to securing 1st place with three points this weekend.
There is a chance that Guardiola will rest players ahead of the Champions League game with Real Madrid next week, but they will still be massive favourites to emerge victorious.
As for Osasuna, they are currently involved in a battle against relegation and would love to pick up a positive result against the league leaders. It would be seen as a massive bonus for them.
As things stand, José Luis Mendilibar Etxebarria’s men are only two points above the bottom three with six games to go.
They have also lost their last three league games so need to get back to winning ways as quickly as possible. What better place to do this than the Nou Camp?
It would without doubt be the surprise result of the season though and as long as Barcelona aren’t too distracted at the halfway point of their four games with Real Madrid, they should win comfortably.
