Spurs snapped a winless streak of several matches with a much needed win at White Hart Lane. The win puts Spurs tied with Arsenal at 58 points and five points above 5th place Chelsea.

Newcastle beats Liverpool

Newcastle kept pace with the top teams behind a Cisse brace at St James Park. The loss is Liverpool’s fifth in their last six matches and has them below Merseyside rivals Everton. Newcastle are five points back of 4th place but few think it’s realistic to finish any higher than 6th.
