Bears vs Dolphins: NFL Football Game Score and Highlights

NFL Score: Miami Dolphins vs Chicago Bears Live Coverage on NFLN - The Miami Dolphins just came out of their most recent game battered and bruised but they are all ready and determined to win this matchup against the Chicago Bears in a Thursday night clash at the NFL Season 2010. The game will be held live at the Sun Life Stadium , Miami Gardens, Florida.

Meanwhile, Miami Dolphins left tackle Jake Long is expected to start Thursday night against the Chicago Bears, barring a setback prior to game time, according to a source with knowledge of the situation.

Third-stringer Tyler Thigpen finished up the 29-17 win over the Titans and went 4-for-6 for 64 yards and a touchdown in a sharp relief effort. The fourth-year pro is the favorite to be under center against the Bears, with newly-signed journeyman Patrick Ramsey in line to serve as the backup.

The Dolphins could turn more to Ronnie Brown, Ricky Williams and the ground game, but that also poses problems. Chicago is second in rush defense at 82.3 yards and limited All-Pro running back Adrian Peterson to a season-low 51 yards on 17 carries Sunday.

On the other hand, Chicago Bears linebacker Pisa Tinoisamoa will miss Thursday night’s game against the Dolphins in Miami because of a knee problem.

The Bears limited Minnesota’s dysfunctional offense to 240 yards and intercepted Brett Favre three times in another impressive display from a unit that’s yielded the second-fewest points and fourth-fewest yards in the league.

Chicago’s formidable defense has been instrumental to the team’s success and will try to force Thigpen into making mistakes. The Bears, second in scoring defense at 16.2 points, fourth in total defense at 311.6 yards and first in turnovers with 24, intercepted Brett Favre three times in Sunday’s 27-13 win over Minnesota.

With their game series history, the Dolphins lead the all-time series with the Bears, 7-3, including a 31-13 road victory when the teams last met, in 2006. Bears head coach Lovie Smith is 0-1 in his career against the Dolphins. Sparano will be meeting both Smith and Chicago for the first time as a head coach.

NFL Football Score: Carolina Panthers vs New Orleans Saints Highlights

New Orleans Saints vs Carolina Panthers NFL Score and Live Coverage on Fox - It will be a great opportunity for the New Orleans Saints to look forward for a Super Bowl title, duplicating their efforts over back to back week that have been a challenger for the defending champion. And now they are ready to face the Carolina Panther in an exciting Sunday afternoon football match.

Live at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina, the New Orleans Saints vs Carolina Panthers game matchup will start at exactly 1:00 pm ET, November 7, 2010, Sunday.

Apparently, New Orleans Saints running back Reggie Bush was limited again at practice Friday and the team has listed him as doubtful for Sunday’s game at Carolina.

After opening the season with back-to-back victories, New Orleans (5-3) has alternated wins and losses in its last six games.

The results in the last four have been troubling, with the Saints beating 5-2 teams Tampa Bay and Pittsburgh by a combined score of 51-16 but losing to Arizona (3-4) by 10 points and Cleveland (2-5) by 13.

Brees shook off an awful four-interception day in the Saints’ shocking 30-17 home loss to non-contending Cleveland the previous week to complete a sharp 33-of-44 passes for 305 yards and two touchdowns against one of the league’s top defenses.

On the other hand, Jonathan Stewart is likely to get his second straight start at running back for the Carolina Panthers with DeAngelo Williams still sidelined with a sprained left foot.

The Panthers, last in the NFL in total offense at 271.0 yards and averaging 12.1 points, mustered just 201 yards in last Sunday’s 20-10 loss to St. Louis. Matt Moore threw three more interceptions, bringing his total to 10 in five games, and Jonathan Stewart was held to 30 yards on 14 carries.

The Panthers mustered only 251 yards and 10 first downs in a hard-fought 16-14 road setback to New Orleans back in Week 4, and that was with top running back DeAngelo Williams on the field.

With their game series history, New Orleans’ last victory over a team with a losing record came Oct. 3, when it defeated Carolina 16-14 at the Superdome, but that was far from easy. Panthers head coach John Fox has an 11-6 record against the Saints in his career, while New Orleans’ Sean Payton is 3-6 against both Fox and the Panthers as a head coach.

Which team do you think will win this final matchup for this Week 9 of the NFL Season 2010. The Saints vs Panthers match will have a live coverage via NBC on the said date and exact time. Please stay tune here for more updates of the game specially the match results and live scores.

Meanwhile, New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis was is questionable for Sunday’s matchup with the Denver Broncos, coach Rex Ryan announced Friday.

So when September’s Week 1 ended with an unwatchable 10-9 home loss to Baltimore, the know-it-all jackals were predictably poised to pounce … quickly painting the second-year quarterback, the offseason personnel moves and the saber-rattling coach with a knee-jerk ‘overrated’ brush.

On the other hand, from blitz packages to witty one-liners, Broncos defensive coordinator Don “Wink” Martindale borrows heavily from his mentor Rex Ryan.

Denver dropped a 31-17 decision at Baltimore last week and was gashed for 415 total yards – including 233 on the ground, 133 on 27 punishing carries by Ray Rice. The Broncos fell to 25th in the league in run defense. New York, incidentally, is first in the league in run offense.

Eight-time Pro Bowl safety Brian Dawkins, cornerback Andre’ Goodman and linebacker Robert Ayers left with injuries and have been ruled out against New York.

With game history, the Broncos hold a 16-14-1 edge in their all-time series with the Jets, breaking a deadlock in the series with a 34-17 road victory when the teams last met, in 2008. The Jets’ Rex Ryan and Broncos’ McDaniels will be meeting each other, as well as their counterpart’s respective teams, for the first time as head coaches.
