Super Bowl Best Commercials 2011: Volkswagen’s Darth Vader, Doritos on Top - The “Super Bowl of Advertisers” event held yesterday features 60 commercials that ran nationally during Super Bowl XLV on Fox. Who among these commercials top the list?

Volkswagen’s commercial went viral and now trending in the information gateway. With more than 12 million views by Sunday, the ad is still on search. A big buzz from the Darth Vader, no doubt about it. The commercial features Darth Vader kid entitled “The Force.” Volkswagen made a preview of this ad few days before the Super Bowl 2011. Many viewers can’t get over with the teaser/leak as it gained momentum and became on of the hottes Super Bowl commercial.

Here are some of my favorite Super Bowl Commercials 2011:

Doritos had a cute commercial that features an adorable little dog taking out the door to get to the Doritos. Pepsi Max had two good ones: the woman throwing the can at her man and taking out the girl he was looking at and then the first date commercial: not that I’d want my kids to hear that date commercial!

The car companies are also the big winners of the showdown. Bridgestone Tires save a beaver, and later the beaver returns the favor. CarMax has a guy completely freaks out when he receives good customer service. VW Beetle ad was a mystery right up until the very end.

Motorola makes fun of how many people are walking around with Apple earbuds in their ear. They encourage you to do something new with the Xoom.

Meanwhile, the Green Bay Packers took the Super Bowl 2011 title with Aaron Rodgers as the MVP, who threw 304 yards with three touchdowns to push the Packers in a 31-25 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. This is the fourth Super Bowl title for the Packers.
