ICC Cricket World Cup 2011: India Official Cricket World Cup 2011 India Quarter Finals Cricket Matches Schedule Reveals - The 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup is the tenth Cricket World Cup and is being played in Bangladesh, India and Sri Lanka. It is Bangladesh’s first time co-hosting a World Cup. All matches in the World Cup will be accorded One Day International status, with all matches being played over 50 overs. Fourteen national cricket teams will compete in the tournament, including ten full members and four associate members.

Apparently, The 2011 World Cup will take place between February and early April 2011, with the first match played on 19 February 2011 with co-hosts India and Bangladesh facing off at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur, Dhaka.^[2] The opening ceremony was held on 17 February 2011 at Bangabandhu National Stadium,Dhaka, two days before the start of the tournament,^[3] with the final on 2 April 2011 at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.

Meanwhile, The 2011 World Cup has grown as a media event with each tournament. The International Cricket Council has sold the rights for broadcasting of the 2011 Cricket World Cup for around US$ 2 Billion to ESPN Star Sports and Star Cricket. The tournament will be broadcast all around the world in about 220 countries.

Having played just the one specialist spinner in Harbhajan Singh against Bangladesh, India might look to have an additional slow bowling option against the Three Lions. The inclusion of either Piyush Chawla or Ravichandran Ashwin would mean that S Sreesanth would go out of the side.

India, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Australia, England,Pakistan and South Africa jumped out to 1-0 records in the last week. Meanwhile, Bangladesh, Kenya, Canada, Zimbabwe, the Netherlands, the West Indies and Ireland were in an early hole at 0-1.
