Tampa Bay Rays vs Texas Rangers Live TV Coverage: MLB Playoff 2010 Schedule - The MLB Playoff 2010 kicks off today with their first American League schedule between the Texas Rangers vs Tampa Bay Rays. The game will be held live in St. Petersburg, Florida and will start at exactly 1:37 pm ET.
And to begin with the game, the Rays will lead by David Price to the mound as he tries to continue his big success from the MLB Regular Season. Apparently, Price went head-to-head in a highly anticipated matchup at Tropicana Field on Aug. 16, allowing two runs and five hits in six-plus innings of a game the Rays eventually won 6-4.
On the other hand, the Rangers will counter the Rays with Cliff Lee. The Rangers has spent the majority of their year being on top at their division but became a serious threat for a World Series title when they acquired lefy Cliff Lee just before the All Star break.
The 32-year-old hurler Lee, though, hasn’t been that effective since coming to the Rangers and was just 4-6 with a 3.98 ERA in 15 starts. He also lost four of his last six regular season decisions. Lee lost all three times he pitched against the Rays this season, allowing 12 earned runs in 23 2/3 innings.
As per record, the Tampa Bay won four of its six regular season meeting with the Rangers for this year but both losses came in with Arlington, where the Rats have won twice in their last nine visits.
